Its work brings together food, education, health and technology for all; women and grassroots communities; open science, AI and cyber security for public good; and action on climate and the environment.

Four ways to join the work

Support the work

Individuals and organisations who would like to contribute to the Foundation's work in its seven focus areas can share their interest below or write to [email protected]. This includes support for women and communities at the grassroots, education and technology for all, open science and AI for public good, and action on climate. The Foundation replies by email with how support can be given through its official channels.

Partner with the Foundation

Schools, colleges, research groups, hospitals, local bodies, social enterprises, philanthropic and corporate programmes, and other not-for-profit organisations can write about working together on shared goals across India.

Share your skills and time

Teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers, researchers, artists, mentors, technologists and others can tell the Foundation how they would like to help. It will get in touch when a suitable opportunity arises.

Give materials

Books, computers, medical aids and other useful items are often needed. Please write first, so that what is given matches a need. Materials can be accepted only from Indian sources, and gifts in kind do not qualify for a donor tax deduction.

Proper channels

How support is handled

Support reaches the Foundation only through its official channels, so that every contribution is safe and accounted for.

  • No payments on this website. The website and the chat assistant never take money or ask for card, bank or UPI details.
  • Details only from @rslfamily.org. How to contribute is shared only by email from an @rslfamily.org address, after you write to the Foundation. Please ignore payment requests from anywhere else, and tell us about them.
  • Numbered receipt. Every contribution is acknowledged by a numbered receipt sent by email from an @rslfamily.org address. A receipt is not a tax certificate, and no tax deduction should be assumed.
  • Indian sources only. The Foundation is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. It can consider contributions, in money or in kind, only from Indian citizens, including Indian citizens living abroad who give from their own savings through normal banking channels, and from Indian organisations that are not a foreign source under that Act. It cannot accept contributions in any currency from foreign citizens (including OCI and PIO cardholders and foreign citizens living in India), from foreign organisations, or from anyone passing on money received from a foreign source.
